Bridget Hall Arrested For Driving While Intoxicated

First Posted: 09/01/2010 8:27 am Updated: 05/25/2011 5:30 pm

Supermodel Bridget Hall was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Sunday morning at 3:17 a.m. in East Hampton, New York, Page Six reports. Hall was released on her own recognizance, meaning she promised to appear in court and answer a criminal charge. It doesn't seem that she has any prior arrests.

Hall is best known for her Sports Illustrated shoots from the early aughts and walking the runway for Ralph Lauren, Chanel and Gucci. According to New York Magazine, 32-year-old Hall lives in the city, is mostly retired, and is friends with Angela Lindvall, Marisa Miller, Sophie Dahl, Heidi Klum and Tyson Beckford.

I love that in effort to give us a better picture of who she is, the writer tells us who she's friends with!!?? Are we in high school??

Because Bridget Hall has almost totally disappeared from the public eye since her modeling career dramatically cooled off about five years ago, she has so far been spared the spectacle of having video footage of her "perp walk" end up all over TV or YouTube.

Hall is now claiming that she didn't have anything to drink. That will later change to "well, I only had a martini," or "I had a couple of beers, but that won't make me drunk." I've never arrested anyone for DUI who has freely admitted how much they had to drink. It's always "I had a glass of wine a few hours ago" which changes to "I can't remember what else I had after that fifth of vodka."

No jail time?

Oh she is rich, lives in the Hamptons.

I doubt if it were one of her housekeepers, she'd be out on her own recognizance.

Actually it's common practice. If the person has someone pick them up....or they do time until sober, nearly all get out on OR. Income has relatively little to do with it.

She hasn't appeared in court so she wouldn't be in jail. Most people get ROR unless they caused an accident with injuries.

I would have gladly given her asylum at 3 a.m. and she could have avoided the charge!

It doesn't matter who it is that gets behind the wheel of a 4000 lb weapon.. People driving while under the influence do not have the right to kill, maim, or be destructive.
It is irresponsible drive. She could have made phone call...
She is a very sick woman.

I like partying as much as the next person, I just think I don't have the right to kill someone just because I want to party.

Could it be that I am in a situation where someone was killed because of alcohol and now the damage left in the wake?Could it be I have first hand experience on the emptiness, or how there will never be undone?
Maybe it may be drama to you but you have not lived it.

Who's gonna get the heaviest sentence? Paris Hilton for having some drugs in her purse or Bridget Hall for driving drunk?

None of the SI swimsuit models are going to move me like Cheryl Tiegs in that mesh or Vikki Lamotta in hers in Playboy.
