The BeBook Club has a six-inch screen on which users can enlarge texts and apply bookmarks. Pictures and music can also be accessed on the new reader, as music playback MP3 and WAV formats can be used and for pictures Jpg, Tiff, Gif, Png and Bmp are all supported. The user can also transfer text file formats including doc, txt, and HTML onto the reader. The device will go on sale next month.

They would have to do a serious drop to live up to this hype. Their 5" reader is $199 right now - the wifi-only Kindle 3 is $139. This one won't even have wifi, so unless their price point is dirt cheap or their product is really good, they've already lost.

Anyone who crosses the $99 marker first will grab a lot of market share. Provided it is a decent gadget. Undoubtedly, everyone else will follow ( except Apple, for they got fanatics buying their grossly overpriced product).
