The worst best part about eye-witness or on-location interviews for local news segments, is that it can really be ANYONE. Recently, a serious report about a bed intruder launched Antoine Dodson's 15 minutes of fame for his eccentric interview on camera, but he's not the only one who's become a YouTube star due to their local news antics. From last week's eccentric coffee lady describing a robbery, to classics such as the Oakland "whistle tips" report or the interview at the fair that ended with a zombie kid saying "I like turtles," there are plenty of hilarious local news interviews to go around. We've collected the best ones in the slideshow below, so don't forget to vote for the most ridiculous!

Those whistle tips will probably stay. Anything noisy seems to stay. The O'Hare interview actually made some good points. :P I hope the pitbull owner got charges against him. Thanks for sharing this one.

Antoine is a great interview-­-he's brave and sassy. And he's media savvy--so he sends a message to the intruder. "Run and tell that".
Nothing funny about the conditions in most projects though. THere have been several remixes and a song. Whatever good thing it brings to this brave kid, he deserves it.
