Perry Watkins, a British inventor, recently turned his Queen Anne dining table (set with silver) into a 130 mph vehicle. He drove the table around a track last weekend to set the record for the world's fastest piece of furniture. He has not yet been accepted by Guinness, but he easily eclipsed the 92 mph sofa that previously held the record.
