WHY: Dennis Manarchy's METAL Photography goes on display at Obsolete Gallery in Venice this weekend, as culled from the private collection of Steve Erenberg.

Dennis Manarchy was an apprentice under Irving Penn and now runs his own creative communications firm in Chicago. Steve Erenberg is an unique collector who apprenticed under Raymond Loewy, the Father of Industrial Design.

Steve's personal collection of 19th century smoke helmuts, scientific gadgets, early quack devices and optometry pieces are carefully curated by Manarchy into the photography narrative, METAL.
