Ray Lewis Rides Jet-Powered Raven In New Old Spice Ad (VIDEO)

Isaiah Mustafa took the Internet by storm in his hilariously viral Old Spice commercials, but memes, like all good things, must come to an end. But wait! Today, Old Spice released a new commercial from the same ad masters who did the Isaiah Mustafa ads, Wieden + Kennedy, only this time it features Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. While Lewis's powers of seduction don't quite measure up to Mustafa's, seeing him saddle up a jet-powered raven and blast off to Saturn is pretty impressive. We want to know: is this meme-overkill? I think it is awful Old Spice decided to hire a murderer to hawk their products. And plus they aren't even clever. Too bad O.J. Simpson wasn't available. Get Michael Vick.

This commercial is directly dissing Vitaminwater's "Norman Tugwater" advertising fail. Lewis begins by saying "I don't play fantasy football, I play REAL FOOTBALL," which references Tugwater's occupation as fantasy lawyer, representing VWs high-profile spokeperson Adrian Peterson.

Later on in the commercial, they run 5 seconds of the same music played in the Tugwater commercial before ending with a memorable melody.

Terrible, , not funny, poor quality. It just goes to show that Ad Agencies like Wieden + Kennedy are lucky to have about one hit in every 100 dud commercials

long time Old Spice user and I must say these new commercials do nothing for me, I don't find them amusing in the least,just stupid.Few commercials these days rate notice from me but at least the little piggy crying wee we wee all the way home stands a chance of being "classic"

Isaiah Mustafa's commercials increased the sale of Old Spice by something like 100 percent!  It wasn't just the concept, Gents.  It was Isaiah.  Word.  It was the ladies who bought all the Old Spice for their men. 

This can only mean Mustafa is asking for a lot more money.   I say give it to him.   You can add a nickle to every Old Spice what'sit that will be directed to the Mustafa fund.  The girls will pay it.  Are you CRAZY?  Give Isaiah the money.

This ad sucks! Where to begin? Ray's horrible Lady Gaga-esque foam mini frock? His desperate need for diction and articulation classes? The not even remotely amusing exploding arsed raven? The hideous pale blue toile wallpaper? I could go on and on. And, what did Saturn ever do to him?

This ad was written by manatees, who absolutely hate Old Spice. So I liked it.
