Tom Ford To Show Womenswear Modeled By Lou Doillon

Tom Ford will reveal some of his womenswear designs at his New York Fashion Week cocktail party, WWD reports. On Tuesday, WWD guessed that the former Gucci Creative Director would use the September 12th fete to show pieces from his first foray into female duds under his own name. And on Wednesday, French fashionista and Jane Birkin's daughter Lou Doillon let slip that she would be walking for Ford next week. Ford's first complete womenswear collection will be comprised of ready-to-wear garments, shoes, bags and jewelry. It's slated to hit stores next June.

Looking forward to the Women's Collection and Tom Ford's next movie.
I was initially skeptical when I heard he was going to direct, but A Single Man is exquisite - loved the stillness and the silence. Very powerful film.
