Carmelo Anthony For Joakim Noah Trade Being Discussed By Nuggets, Bulls: ESPN

One day after Yahoo Sports reported that Carmelo Anthony has told the Denver Nuggets he'd like to be traded to the Chicago Bulls or New York Knicks, ESPN has some details of the discussions.

On Thursday, ESPN cited "league sources" in reporting the Nuggets and Bulls have been in discussion regarding a possible trade involving Joakim Noah and Carmelo Anthony.

According to ESPN, the Nuggets are wary of accepting Bulls forward Luol Deng, who could take Anthony's place in the team's lineup, but is currently signed to a long term deal that would limit the team's flexibility in the future.

Noah is in the final year of his rookie contract

The Denver Post, meanwhile, reports that the Nuggets will not make any moves involving Anthony until they meet face-to-face with their star forward. New general manager Masai Ujiri wants a firm answer from Anthony himself as to whether he wants to stay in Denver.

The meeting is expected to happen soon.
