Some of them I love, for instance all of the clean white looks, others I can do without-especially some of the prints but the silhouettes are great.

Wow. What a let down. Some of the 'prom' dresses were so huge you could hide your boyfriend under them and not get caught. The innovation he showed on Project Runway was exciting. This collection -asymetrical, one sleeved, two looks sewn together, outfits that have tons of cloth on one side of the dress - just not good. The shorts sets have been done before. Seen em, sonny. I liked 3 of the designs. The rest - meh. Overall, the collection looked unbalanced. Too bad.

I thought most of the designs would be successful post-runway.

#1 and #4---if those had been Chris March's designs, they would have been loudly criticized.

Really. How much talent does it take to make not one BUT 2(!) sack dresses and put belts on them? That shiny black shirt makes the model look like she left her left arm somewhere. Those lopsided dresses... um... I suppose if one side of me was really out of proportion with the other side then they would work. And those wedding cake prom dresses? Wtf happened, Mister?!?

Christian does glamour better than any of the young designers out there. One caveat. One shoulder is really so last year. But I too love that white with the bold leather belt.

He's actually noticably derivative of himself in this collection, with those billowy balloon skirts we've seen before (still love them!), and some of those blue, red and rust colors. This is not his most daring collection (perhaps due to his recent forays into ready-to-wear), nor his best, but there are some very beautiful pieces here! Actually, now that I look again at the bigger pictures, this really is a spectacular collection!
