Stand Up To Cancer Telethon: Stars Unite For Fundraiser (Live Stream)

Stand Up To Cancer Telethon: Stars Unite For Fundraiser (Live Stream)

Following up the success of the inaugural 2008 Stand Up To Cancer Telethon, which raised $100 million for cancer research, the third annual fundraiser will be broadcast across major networks September 10.

The Stand Up To Cancer campaign is organized by the Entertainment Industry Foundation. The star-studded anti-cancer telethon will be hosted by news anchors from three major networks: ABC's Diane Sawyer, NBC's Brian Williams and CBS's Katie Couric.

The event will feature musical performances by Stevie Wonder, Natasha Bedingfield, Queen Latifah, Aaron Neville and others -- as well as appearances by George Clooney, Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal and numerous other stars. Cancer survivors Christina Applegate and Lance Armstrong will also take part.

The telethon will be simultaneously broadcast on Fox, ABC, CBS and NBC -- as well as shown on cable channels such as E!, VH1, HBO and many more -- and will be featured live-streaming online (below).

Donors can contribute online or by phone. Money raised from the telethon will benefit Stand Up To Cancer's scientific partner, the American Association for Cancer Research, as the organization works to fund pioneering cancer research to save lives from the disease.

Supporters can also donate by bidding on items in the Stand Up To Cancer eBay auction.

The telethon begins at 8 p.m. EDT.
