Daniel Tosh Goes Camping With The 'Double Rainbow' Guy (VIDEO)

Last night on "Tosh.0," Daniel Tosh met up with Paul "Hungry Bear" Vasquez, better known as the "Double Rainbow" guy. Tosh got Hungry Bear to talk about his life in the wilderness (he lives on just $5,000 a year!) and he even swore that he wasn't on drugs when he made the infamous video. To see the world through Hungry Bear's eyes, Tosh downed some "magic mushrooms" and the pair followed an awe-inspiring quadruple rainbow through the forest. When you see where the rainbow ends, you too will be asking "what does this mean?"

Please forgive me. Honestly, I've watched this guys show like 5 times now and I've barely smirked. The skit is nice, but you can see this guys jokes coming a mile away. He's like the Jay Leno of cable television. It's not a matter of "getting" his humor. It's not that hard to grasp: Show clip, make Leno-esque wise crack using swear word that will get bleeped – or sexual comment/innuendo anyone could come up with. And that laugh track is just ridiculous. He's trying hard to be Joel McHale and he's just not. It's all subjective I suppose.

I saw a double rainbow yesterday while it was raining lightly outside. It was REALLY cool looking actually--there was a band of dark grey-purple between the two rainbows, a completely different color than the rest of the sky. I can see why Bear was so taken by the double rainbow he saw. :-)

Tosh is one of the best stand-up comedians out there right now. And his show is consistently hilarious thanks to DT's fearless --and tasteless-- comedy. His style is an odd combination of megalomania and self-deprecation. Funny stuff.
