Michael's is known more for its power lunches than its late-night parties, but the midtown media establishment kicked off Fashion Week Thursday night with a party hosted by Lorenzo Martone and Poppy de Villeneuve for Ruffian designers Claude Morais and Brian Wolk.
The event, which featured champagne and caviar in an apparent homage to the 80s, featured the designer's show (which took place at Lincoln Center earlier Thursday) streaming out the West 55th window.
Inside, guests enjoyed chef Michael McCarty's famous seafood-heavy California cuisine and Ketel One cocktails, while waiters passed around Red Bulls with straws.
