Thakoon Panichgul showed his Spring 2011 collection at New York Fashion Week on Saturday. For the non-fashion-obsessed, you might know Thakoon from his cameo in "The September Issue" or because he's a Michelle Obama favorite. Take a look at his newest designs and tell us which you'd love to see on the First Lady and which ones you'd leave on the rack.

She should dress like a forty something first lady and the media needs to stop trying to make her Jackie O she will never be that graceful

Mrs. Obama should dress the way she feels and we'll let history decide her fate, not your opinion.

What a horrid comment. She dresses as a 40+ First Lady as that is exactly who she is. However, if sedate to dowdy is your measure of dressing in your forties, may First Lady Michelle Obama never please you. Whether you like her choices or not, she is ever fresh and interesting in her attire.

No one is trying to make her Jackie O. That is such a limitation. She is fully her own woman.

Jackie O. has no patent on grace, although she is deservedly an iconic First Lady. Michelle Obama has her own grace and beauty that are second to no one, living or dead. It is possible to maintain the special place you have in your heart for Jackie O., and still appreciate the style, grace, dignity, intelligence and beauty of First Lady Michelle Obama. Here's to hoping you broaden your horizins.

I like the pants suit.

Is it me or is it hard to tell what these garments would look like on a real woman?

Not a one. At a stretch, maybe No. 6.

None of those outfits suit Michelle Obama

They look better on professional models.

Hmmm...which one...?

I didn't see any with waistbands up into their armpits...so I guess the answer is: "none".

True, she over-does it too much. I mean, she has a great body. Anything could look good on her.

So true, the woman has a fabulous body and they keep giving her these dresses without shape and I wish someone would tell her they look awful.

I think designers have run out of ideas. The white classic suit is the only one worthy of our FLOTUS!

The first white dress would suit her nicely.

All those outfits looked too big on the models.  They all need to eat.

Anyway, the designs will probably look a lot better on Mrs. Obama because she has some curves to her.

Nothing interesting....why does Mrs. Obama care for his work?
