Glenn Beck, Andrew Breitbart and other high-profile conservatives will gather in President Obama's "backyard" Saturday for Right Nation 2010--an event aimed toward energizing (and unifying) conservative voters in the Midwest.
The pricey "massive rally for victory" will raise money for conservative candidates, though Right Nation is not endorsing any specific candidates in hopes of appealing to a broader audience.
To draw attention to the event, the folks at Right Nation made a trailer. Using audio from Ronald Reagan and Beck himself, their goal appears to be "let's scare them into getting involved!"
"Our country is in danger," Reagan says. Then, there is audio from a 1962 Reagan speech:
"You will awake to find, that we have socialism. If you don't do this, and if I don't do it, one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children, and telling our children's children what it once was like in America, when men were free."

(UPDATE: The original post mistakingly attributed the "socialism" quote to Glenn Beck. In fact, the quote is from a speech Reagan made in 1962. He was discussing how Medicare would lead to the destruction of American democracy.)
