Radio Host Matt Patrick: Mark Dantonio Heart Attack Caused By God (VIDEO)

WATCH: Radio Host Creepily Suggests God Caused Coach's Heart Attack

Michigan State head football coach Mark Dantonio suffered a heart attack Saturday night, a scary episode that required emergency surgery and has kept 54-year-old hospitalized for days. The onset occurred shortly after the Spartans stunned Notre Dame with a dramatic game-winning fake field goal in overtime.

While most reacted to Dantonio's heart attack with sympathy, it appears there is at least one major exception. South Bend, Ind. radio host Matt Patrick creepily spoke about Dantonio in a video posted to YouTube on Monday, and suggested that God caused the head coach's heart attack.

At issue is Michigan State's fake field goal, which turns out to have occurred after the game clock reached zero. The Spartans should have been penalized, but instead the team won the contest in thrilling fashion.

In Patrick's estimation, the non-call amounted to cheating and Dantonio was punished accordingly. After mentioning Dantonio's heart attack, Patrick continued: "You mess around with the Fighting Irish, you cheat on the last play of the game in overtime, and beat the Irish, God's gonna get you. Keep that in mind." The blog It's Always Sunny in Detroit, which posted the video, writes that Patrick apologized Tuesday morning. Scroll down to watch the disturbing video.
