Virgin Hotels Launches Website, Actual Hotels Can't Be That Far Behind
We knew it was bound to happen: Richard Branson's mega-conglomerate, Virgin, is launching a hotel chain. There have been rumors for months, nay years, about this, but the proof is in the pudding: the company just launched a website.
The brand is first targeting "major urban markets" in North America (since they fly to New York, L.A., San Francisco and Miami, among others, we bet those are on the short list for first dibs). The hotels will have roughly 150 to 400 rooms and will be of 4-star quality.
According to the company, their target guest is "more than comfortable with technology" and is likely a member of the creative class (their word, not ours).
Where would you want to see a Virgin Hotel? Leave your ideas in comments.
