Stephen Colbert Predicts Christine O'Donnell's Next Crazy TV Clip (VIDEO)

First Posted: 09/23/10 11:35 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 06:50 PM ET

With Bill Maher threatening to show more controversial clips of Republican senate nominee Christine O'Donnell, Stephen Colbert took some time on the "Report" last night to predict what other crazy things she might have said.

Bill O'Reilly is taking "the high road" by not showing clips he claims to have of O'Donnell talking about more things like witchcraft and masturbation, but Colbert has no problem showing what she's said in the past. He promptly displayed a clip of her claiming that the government is secretly cross-breeding animals and humans to make mice with "fully functioning human brains."

As always, Colbert took it a step further and broke out the "Christine O'Donnell Clip Predictor 3000," where a spin of the wheel will show what she did, who she did it with, and on which TV show did she talked about it on. Let's just say we're really excited to see the episode of Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" where O'Donnell talks about the time she killed a drifter with a zombie.

It must be hard to do a caricature of a right wing crackpot when people like Beck, Palin and O'Donnell have come onto the scene in actual 3-d full-color breathing glory.

She knows about the mouse brains, first hand!
People should wear GB Packers "Cheeseheads" to her speeches! LOL!
It won't matter much, her supporters will vote for her as an angry protest vote no matter what she did. If you don't like that, you better make sure you vote.
You can certainly laugh at her, but just don't laugh her off.
There are so many wackos at the gates like O'Donnell, Angle, and other Tea candidates that there's a good chance a few will get in. This will also vindicate Palin's choice of leaving office midterm, for the "greater good". She'll still be in the news.
Need more proof? So much publicity has been given to the Angle, O'Donnell, Paul, Joe Miller, and other tea candidates that most people know their names and faces at a glance. If you catch someone laughing at them, or their beliefs, ask them quickly "Who's running against them?".
Most people don't know, and that's the scary part.

Christine applied for one of those 'fully functioning' brains, but was turned down.

I've noticed over the years that Stewart and Maher never mention each other. When one of them is brought up to the other by a guest or the media, they steer clear entirely. It's the only thing that either of them seem to avoid.

Seems like there is bad blood there. Anyone have any insight into this?

Call it cautious respect? They don't seem to want to get up in each others business, anyway.

No, I doubt it. Stewart has had Maher on his show a few times, and earlier this year, Maher was asked about having Stewart on his show. Maher said that he'd love to have him on but Stewart has a busy schedule

I think the comedians can afford to take a pay cut - after all they are getting their jokes handed to them on a silver platter - people like Boehner, Palin, O'Donnell and a host of other Repubs!! This was very funny - I wonder how Stephen Colbert or Jon Stewart would be on the Bill Maher show or is that too many ego's - you go Stephen

"American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals, and coming up with mice with fully-functioning human brains."

Christine, of COURSE they are. Where do you think GOP voters come from?

Although, "fully-functioning" is a debatable point.

More like: humans with fully-functioning mouse brains.

What amazes me is that Billo can keep a straight face. How many times did he air Rev. Wright (not stuff Obama said) with the pure intent to hurt. The hypocrisy blows the mind.

You just can't make up the republican party. The less sense something makes the more they like it! The only growth industry they drive is the comedians..
