Drew University Eliminates Free Condoms

A free condom service at Drew University has been eliminated due to budget cuts and theft, which students say is a shortsighted decision that punishes the larger community for the immature actions of a few.

At the end of last school year, Drew's student health services department decided not to replace a basket of free condoms in its lobby when it fell victim repeatedly to some taking large quantities at once and someone even taking the basket, said Drew spokesman David Muha.
