Mo Williams, LeBron James' Ex-Teammate, Considered Retiring After 'The Decision'

Distraught Ex-Teammate Nearly Retired After LeBron Left

After LeBron James decided to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers to play for the Miami Heat with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, one of his former teammates was so devastated he almost walked away from the game.

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Mo Williams considered retiring after James' decision, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.

"That's how bad it got," Williams said. "I contemplated it. I really sat down and envisioned life after basketball. I really saw myself not playing."

The report also says that Williams was depressed.

"This summer was very, very stressful for me. I really lost a lot of love for the game this summer," Williams said.

In July, a clearly upset Williams posted his reaction to LeBron's decision on Twitter.
