Between Braylon Edwards' DWI, the Ines Sainz incident, and their ever-chatty big mouths, the Jets just keep allowing messy off-the-field antics to eclipse their pretty good on-the-field ones. But now there's even bad news about their fans: Fireman Ed Anzalone, the originator of the J-E-T-S chant, is facing an assault charge following an altercation with a Giants fan during the pre-season Jets/Giants game, according to the Post. It seems that in true sports-dude fashion, Fireman Ed and Giants fan Christopher Black got in a shoving match while both tried to chant for their teams. Didn't they realize that New Meadowlands Stadium has room enough to babysit kids, lets alone two superfans?
