Fight Breaks Out After Harry Reid-Sharron Angle Candidate Forum

A Nevada Senate candidate forum ended in a scuffle, and this time, it wasn't just the candidates exchanging jabs.

Kelly Tanaki said an unidentified man pushed her over and punched her friend Thursday after the forum at Faith Lutheran Jr./Sr. High School.

The fight came after an impassioned event during which the crowd both heckled and cheered Republican Sharron Angle and Democrat Harry Reid.

The man was detained by school officials. The 27-year-old Tanaki said the fight occurred because she walked past the man, not because she supports Reid and he backs Angle.

Both candidates were asked about health care, education and job creation. Reid couldn't make the forum, but filmed his responses.

Angle supports reducing the federal government, while Reid says government can help businesses grow.

That's not true.  They generally only attack women, especially if it means they can implement policies that will result in women being reduced to the state they were in 100 years ago.

They don't attack men, as a rule, unless those men happen to be minorities.

Whenever I see Angel, I am reminded of a poster from Nevada who said a ham sandwich could beat Harry.

Reid couldn't find the time in his busy schedule to actually attend the event in person,,,,but he has time to text with Lady GaGa !

Reid pulled this same trick to avoid having a "face to face" town hall meeting with Nevada voters too! He held a "telephone town hall meeting",,,and only took questions from PRE-screened callers.

Angle supporters outnumbered Reid's people by 4 to 1,,yet this small group was determined to disrupt the event and showed no respect for Angle,,who at least had the courtesy to show up in person!

There is no doubt Reid needs to be fired.....Obama should start looking for another "yes man".

Reality check here-do you understand Congress being back in session? Reid had a job to do- more important things than campaigning against the obtuse Angle. Making such a comparison, between flying back and forth across the country and texting Lady Gaga makes you sound like someone's Mother trying to guilt their kid. That you Sharron?

angle's self-fullfilling prophecy when you don't think public school or even the department of education doesn't "work". instead of supporting your local schools, you just yank your kid out of public school and home school them.

Today's Contra Costa Times has an article on the rise of online racism in the morning report.

I have noticed more and more abuse on HP as we get closer to the election. It is apparent that some bloggers are not legit but paid workers or operatives. I would suggest that once you suspect you are
being baited or abuse, simply flag and move on. Don't waste valuable time providing facts to a closed mind or someone collecting a check from Karl Rove.

The tactic they are using is very harmful to the entire country. It is an attack on the free flow of information that we all could benefit from.
