My alma mater. Glad as heck I wasn't at that game, though! I do so hate tornado weather...not that we should be having tornado weather in the fall. Glad, too, we pulled it out in the end with a win! =)

If I saw a sky like that I'd be looking for a strong basement room somewhere. I would NOT be in the stands taking pictures of my own potential death. Go ahead and call me a coward, that's OK I have seen and experienced my quota of tornadoes and do not need any more thank you very much.

What did Bill Murray's character Karl say in Caddy Shack, "I don't think the heavy stuff is going to come down for quite awhile" -- or something like that!

Ha. Ha. Funny funny. I go to the University of Kansas and I have lived in Kansas my whole life and never seen a tornado. I think that goes for 99% of the people whom live here.

Yeah, except those from Chapman and Greensburg. But, I'm with you. Grew up in Junction City and have had to take cover, but not had one come near the house before. God forbid that ever changes.

Anyone from the midwest knows full well of the awe inspiring beauty with some of the storm clouds that rumble past, and we all know sometimes it can look like this but nothing much happens other than some rain, thunder and lightning. Of course, those other times make national headlines...

The most stunning thing I see is that no one is busy digging a hole to hide in. Or looking for a basement.
