Stephen Colbert's testimony before Congress about migrant workers got a lot of attention, but one person is very unhappy with his appearance: Fox News' Megyn Kelly.
On Friday's edition of her show, "America Live," Kelly said that, while Colbert's appearance might have been "hilarious to some," others might have found it "a huge waste of taxpayer time and money."
She then brought on Iowa Republican Steve King, who sits on the immigration subcommittee that Colbert testified before (and who had a sharp, if humorous, exchange with the Comedy Central host).
"What the hell was he doing before the U.S. Congress?" she asked King.
Later, she asked him if Zoe Lofgren, the chair of the subcommittee who appeared on Colbert's show, "owes this country an apology for wasting our taxpayer dollars and your time."
