O'Reilly, Hannity Strike Back At Obama Criticism Of Fox News

Fox News hosts Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity responded Tuesday to President Obama's criticism of their network.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Obama said Fox News has a point of view that is "ultimately destructive" to the growth of the country.

"How on earth is Fox News hurting the middle class?" O'Reilly wondered aloud during a segment with Alan Colmes and Monica Crowley Tuesday night.

O'Reilly also said Obama criticized Fox because "50 percent of the commentators" on the network disagreed with the president, as opposed to other media outlets who "still love him."

Hannity, though, expressed outrage at the comments, leading his show with his reponse to Obama.

"Once again, we are seeing if you disagree with the president's left-wing agenda, you do so at your own risk," he said, before blasting Obama for his economic and foreign policy.

"Mr. President, this network did not put into place policies that are going to result in higher taxes, higher health care premiums and fewer jobs," Hannity said.

I am glad that the President is calling Fox out. I remember Hannity asking questions about President Obama's birth certificate. If he doesn't believe he is not an American he should not have been fanning the flames that he might be a Kenyan citizen. They look right in the camera and lie to Americans faces because they cannot stand that we have a black president and that they lost the 2008 election. Too bad. They should not have a front seat at the daily briefings either. It should be given to a real journalist. I can't think of one that is on Fox Noise.

Have a seat children, and let me answer your rather disingenuous and clueless question: 1) At worst, talking heads on your network have been caught blatantly LYING rather than correctly report the facts about the President's positive accomplishments and/or "failures" after 21 months in office. 2) At best, the same on-air personalities, including Hannity, have been exposed SEVERAL times for selectively 'editing' video that FALSELY and INTENTIONALLY portrayed democrat issues/politicians taking positions that were 180 degrees counter to the actual truth. 3) After you and others on the network tirelessly boasted that Fox News is 'balanced' and 'non-partisan', there is ample evidence that a majority of your newscasts are GREATLY slanted in tone toward the benefit of conservatives--including your parent company publicly demonstrating political favoritism with a significant monetary donation in support of REPUBLICAN candidates for office. And 4) (the coup de grace) Your very own CEO/OWNER , i.e., Mr. Murdoch, doesn't even think much of ANY of you. Just read what he says in this link:

Both of these men have done nothing to improve the lot of millions of people that are unemployed, lost their homes, or have brought home sons or daughters sent overseas to fight in illegal wars. It's easy to be a critical observer, especially if you are being paid millions of dollars to do essentially nothing but complain.

When you've saved one job Mr. O'Reilly, I'll pay attention to you. When you've stopped one foreclosure on a home Mr. Hannity, I'll pay attentino to you. Until then, you have my utter contempt.

All you have to do is go over to Fox News and read the comments on almost any article to see how they have whipped their audience into a frenzy. There's not a lot of thinking going on over there, but there is a lot of blind passion.

I prefer to read a site that wasn't taken to court and then used as their defense that their allowed to lie and distort what they broadcast.
Fox News did this and their quite proud of the finding...Yes, they're allowed to lie and distort. Why would anyone trust them after that judgement?
