Officials from DIA and the Federal Aviation Administration are concerned that a planned $7.5 million public shooting range in Adams County could endanger low-flying planes with errant bullets.
County officials say they have taken measures to address air-traffic safety and say the facility is needed to meet demand for a public range in the metro area that provides training and supervised shooting opportunities.
