Building a community of subscribers and a spirit of collectivism means works that would languish in foreign editions, locked inside a language mono-linguistic English speakers are unable to read, are finally made accessible. It also means that they can rely on a knowledge of how many copies they can be confident of selling. Their only concern is to keep the quality high, so they retain their subscribers and attract new ones.
