I got a confirmation e;mail right away and my mom got a seat after the date because I asked if there were free seats due to last minute cancellations , they got right back to us , and I now she and I are going together....

Thanks Ariana...
11:45 PM on 10/28/2010
I haven't received any information from Sanity Bus via email since Sept 28. Are you sending some sort of confirmation code soon? Do we just print out that email and bring it?
03:56 PM on 10/28/2010
Not sure if anyone responded to this, but you must have registered (submitted your request for a seat) by 9am on October 12th. You probably didn't hear back because the offer had expired when you tried to obtain a confirmation.
11:25 AM on 10/28/2010
I can not believe this! I have tried and tried to get connected with the bus- get daily updates from HuffingtonPost.com and the registration is closed - I never saw it posted!
07:33 PM on 10/26/2010
I signed up immediately and registered for the bus, but never received a confirmation e-mail.
02:02 PM on 10/27/2010
Same thing happened to me. After a while, I just figured they were being slow with the confirmation emails. Sucks because I recruited a lot of people and talked smack about how this was important. Hahahah, I guess I have to laugh. Technology bringeth, technology taketh away. I'm guessing I'm screwed. I wrote to their help email but I'm guessing they're going to be getting a ton of these over the next few days and won't respond.
08:57 AM on 10/26/2010
I see people are complaining about being late to register. I know I responded as soon as I heard about the offer and received an email asking me to register. Found out we couldn't go that weekend and didn't respond so I didn't take it any further.

BUT I never expected there not to be a sign-up. How would anyone know how many buses to order if there was no sign-up? I'm still sorry we can't go but thank Huffington for making transportation available.
08:56 AM on 10/26/2010
How do I know for sure if I'm registered?
08:53 AM on 10/26/2010
We'll be there with you in spirit. Have a wonderful time!
11:58 PM on 10/23/2010
if anyone cancels sure would love to get on a bus. just found a replacement at work but too late for the deadline . thanks
09:45 AM on 10/23/2010
lame. On John Stewart Arianna said "show up" not "sign up"
12:29 PM on 10/26/2010
This is a Rally for Sanity - not a march for whiners.

Most people (dare I say sane people) know you have to 'sign up' before you show up. As far as I know, Arianna ordered enough buses for all the people that signed up - so big thanks to them and hope you all have a great time.

We can't attend but will be there in spirit.
02:19 AM on 10/22/2010
All you people saying you didn't get on the bus are full of S*&t ....if you actually signed up after teh Daily Show vist of AH...you would have gotten on like I did.
06:04 PM on 10/22/2010
Wow, what hubris! So because something is subjectively true in your experience, it must apply to everyone? Have you received an email from HuffPo after submitting that first form and indicating number of people you planned to bring, because I did not.

This is missing the point anyway. The fact is Arianna promised transportation from NY to ANYONE WHO WANTS it. As a result, she got a huge amount of publicity on blogs and in the press. She also got THOUSANDS (!) of new subscribers to HuffPo. If only because to sign up for that initial form (which as far as I can tell forwarded all email straight to the Recycle Bin), you needed to sign up with HuffPo.

Seriously, get off your high horse. This was a classic bait and switch because HuffPo decided this kind of marketing was too expensive and can be achieved for less $ and you claim people are full of #### because you're the one who got in.
12:31 PM on 10/26/2010
I personally know people who signed up and received the correct form, etc. and are going. Maybe subjective but since there are a few thousand people going, I'd say it the experience of most people who signed up.

Sorry you are so cynical. Chill and hope you find a way to get to DC anyway.
02:02 PM on 10/21/2010
How can you people not expect a deadline? Huffington does not own a bus company, the last time I checked. You try bussing God knows how many people without an idea of how many people!

I signed up on time, I've received the reconfirmation emails, I'm all set.
01:48 PM on 10/21/2010
I also was under the impression that HP would get back to me regarding the buses after I registered with the website, Told that we "will email you regarding the buses". Well I registered and never heard anything back. Now you say you 're closed!!!???!!! What happened to "AS MANY BUSES AS NEEDED. JUST SHOW UP"????? I am extremely disappointed with HP.
07:40 PM on 10/19/2010
I'm so disappointed. I saw that episode where Ms. Huffington was on The Daily Show with John Stewart. I was sure she said there would be as many buses as necessary. Maybe it was naive of me to believe what she said, but one things for sure...I don't trust her as much now.
09:38 PM on 10/20/2010
I agree. "As many buses as necessary" I hate when people cannot keep their word.
