The world's newest airline, United/Continental, took to the skies on Monday morning, flying from Chicago to Houston for its inaugural flight, according to ABC News.
The company's new CEO, Jeff Smisek, was on board for the first flight.
While many are excited for the new airline, some employees are reportedly a little concerned about their job safety.
The entire fleet will change over from United and Continental planes into one uniform aircraft with the United logo and Continental's globe tail design by next year.
