Boehner On His Relationship With Obama: 'We Talk About Golf... Our Skin Color' (VIDEO)

House Minority Leader John Boehner spoke out about his relationship and interactions with President Obama on Monday night during an appearance on Fox News.

"First thing that happens is, you know, I come in and he'll say Boehner, you're almost as dark as me," joked the Ohio Republican to FNC host Sean Hannity. "You know, I listen. We talk about golf. We'll talk about our skin color. We have a nice relationship."

Boehner, however, then identified what he described as the deal breaker when it comes to their relationship. He explained, "The problem we have is that when we talk to each other, there's no connection."

Responding to a question, the ranking Republican also said that he and the president don't smoke cigarettes together.

I'll bet this is what Boehner overheard Obama say about *him*.

And the skin color thing? No way I see Obama saying "you're almost as dark as me" to Boehner. Sounds like a made up anecdote to make Boehner seem buddy-buddy with the president.

Wouldn't "connecting" with Boehner just corrupt Obama? Corruption is the beginning, end, and everything in between of Boehner's world. Doing business doesn't require a "connection" or even liking each other. Just the ability to the jobs they were elected to do and negotiate agreements that serve the nations interests. This would require compromise and the republicans have decided they don't do "compromise"..

Of course, Obama "doesn't get it". Republican Socialism has to get paid! That means doing lobbyists' bidding, passing checks out to members on the floor, etc. That's a lot of work! Thankfully, the 'Bone has figured out how to do it and keep his evenings free ;)

I was actually going to cut Tanny McF*ckerson a break and say his comment was funny, but after reading the entire comment, I feel it was out of line.

The comment "We talk about our skin color" is a funny, self effacing line that recognizes jokes about his own personal tanning issues and then uses it to his advantage,. It's a smart one liner that somebody comedy/speech writer probably wrote for him. The reason it's funny is because you need to wait a beat before you get it.

The comment "you're almost as dark as me" is obviously an adlib that he thought was funny in a idiotic, smash over the top of your head, locker room kind of way, It's not.

Stick with the pros Johnny, don;t go off card.
