Ed Schultz Takes On The Chamber Of Commerce's 'Anti-American Money Bomb' (VIDEO)

"Ed Show" host Ed Schultz took on the powerful U.S. Chamber of Commerce Wednesday night in the wake of allegations that the business lobby is spending foreign money on political attack ads in violation of federal election laws.

"I'm going to say this loud and clear," Schultz said, with a graphic reading "Anti-American Money Bomb!" in the foreground. "It is flat-out dangerous that we don't know where the money is coming from and foreign countries are influencing our electoral process."

I am an MSNBC guy starting with Way to Early, Morning Joe (best morning news program in the busineess - they talk about real football aka soccer) all the way except for two programs. One with Dylan Ratigan and the other is Ed Shultz or as I call it the Stupid Ed Show. Nothing against Ed Shultz but his show does nothing for me and is the liberal version (based on facts not non facts) of Glen Beck. As I said Ed is based on true facts and Beck is based on lies and I have tried ot watch his show however I would rather turn the Fox Soccer Channel and watch a replay of an Seria A game or EPL game that saw over the weekend.
I think MSNBC should put Crazy Lawrence O'Donnell at 5 PM since I like his program a lot and it is good television.

How can the American public stand by and let big business and billionaires try to buy
our government?

The 24 hour a day megaphone of FIXED NOISE broadcasting their informercial
for the Republican party to the phony front groups paid for
by billionaires and corporations, and campaign ads paid for by groups that are
not identified in the ads, big money is trying to buy our elections.

Now we need to worry about foreign corporations and governments influencing our elections.

The Republican party will stop at nothing to get back into power.

They ran the country into a ditch under GWB, threw the keys to the next guy
and said " I hope you fail". What a bunch of losers.

Americans have very short memories. We were losing 750,000 jobs a month when
GWB left office. Their policies put us on the brink of a depression. They created
such a big mess that it will take us years to fix the damage they caused.

And now they want to be in control again. To do what? To take us back to the
failed policies that got us into this mess.

Average Americans need to think before they vote and look at which party
is better at looking out for the interests of the average working American.

Democrats are working to save the middle class.

Republicans are working to save their campaign contributions and big business
benefactors.

Democrats need to speak up and not get drowned out by big money interests.

Obama predicted it, the Supreme Court denied it would happen, but here we are. Some were worried about a Manchurean candidate, but never anticipated that China would just buy elections. And the Republicans are willing to let it happen because the rich have much more in common with each other (no matter what country they live in) than they have with the rest of us. Thumbs up to Ed always looking out for us the regular folks. What a disgrace the U.S.Chamber of Commerce is there is nothing U.S about them, it needs to be changed to Overseas Chamber of Commerce. They are like the Mafia, they want to be in charge of the elections, what a disgrace they are, they need to be outsourced to China.

I agree with Ed. The Chamber of Commerce is taking money from forgein entities these moneys are not being transparent, hiding the real trail of the money..... Citizens United was a horrible decission that will end up having forgein entities including our enemies .

Chamber of Horrors
The Chamber of Commerce has become a Chamber of Horrors as far as American democracy is concerned. They have lost touch with the real dynamism -- the real grass roots -- that is and was responsible for building this great nation of ours. They have so allied themselves with big money that they, like many of our politicians (especially the Republicans), no longer represent the practical and real interests of the American people and its future. They have become drunk with money and they have lost touch with the foundational principles that this country was founded upon. By allowing big corporations and well funded special Interest groups to take control of the political process, they have essentially rewritten our constitution in such a way that would be unrecognizable to our founding fathers.

This is a sad time in American history.

He's right. Also, considering that commerce is this country is denying, it seems this Chamber is becoming useless. Our government needs to work to find a way to return America to the Americans. Our people facing foreclosure need one thing else besides protection from the financial institutions; they need jobs that ensure they can pay the mortgage! That is supposed to be the job of the Chamber. They're not doing their job, so do what they're allowing to be done to us. Put them out of work, make them irrelevant to the process and shut them down completely. Since signs point to them selling our elections to foreign interests, this seems as good a time as any to show that payback is a bitch!
