Michelle Obama Shines In Yellowy-Gold Sheath On Tuesday (PHOTOS, POLL)

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle hosted the Diplomatic Corps Reception in the East Room on Wednesday. For the occasion, Michelle donned a yellowy-gold, satin Jason Wu sheath. She accessorized with silver pointed pumps, earrings and bangles.

Michele and the President are the classiest act in the White House since the Kennedy's and truly, I believe they are even classier. There is something so wholesome and clean about the two of them, and you can tell they truly love one another. I give them a 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++.

I wonder if the first couple know that so many of us, still, really do care about their well being...and that of their family and are routing so completely for their success as a family as well as the President's success in his work. I wonder if they feel completely beleagured after all this adverarial stuff, birther stuff, etc. Michelle Obama is a very accomplished woman in her own right, at one time in fact was the Presidents BOSS (well, mentor, but she was his superior in the law firm). SHe must have to swallow alot of crow to keep herself small and in the confines of the narrow first lady role. She manages to project grace about this but I secretly admire her even more for what I think she must be sacrificing for her husband and for the country, really.
I also think it's so cool that the President went after his (former I think by then) mentor repeatedly wanting to date her and she finally said yes. I like how he's not afraid of a strong woman. Clinton for all his faults is so proud of Hillary in the same way. Like that in a man, in a person.

Black woman are just so darn amazing with their gorgeous skin and hair.
I LOVE Michelles' body which is very toned and athletic.
She looks both incredibly feminine and strong.

I don't know about that. Real curvy women with ample bottoms wouldn't be able to wear them. I've tried and most of the women I know can't. Maybe if it were a ponte knit it cold work for us gals.

Nonetheless, she loooks fabulous and that color is really working for her. Is that chartreuse?

her Health always is what makes her attractive, in my opinion. She's toned, not too thin but not overweight...has beautiful smooth skin, healthy teeth, shiny hair. I know makeup and products can fool sometimes, but the total package to me is someone who is vibrantly healthy, who eats well excersizes takes care of self...she glows from inside out and it shows. I find her radiant. I also like her so much viscerally that I may be biased. I think she is a kind person and a very good mother amongst other more mundan skills of being brilliant and accomplished in her own right.

jplanner, ITA. Fanned and faved. She blows me away, everything about her, all that you wrote in your post. She's got it all going on, and none of it can be feigned. There is not another First Lady in our history who can hold a candle to our Michelle. I think Eleanor Roosevelt comes in second, but I would have to say Michelle tops even her, and I've loved many of the First Ladies. We are so very lucky to have her as a source of inspiration and as our representative to the world. She's the kind we won't see the likes of for centuries.
