'Parker Spitzer' Ratings Improve On Day 2

SILVER LINING? 'Parker Spitzer' Ratings Climb On Day 2

After a dismal first night, the ratings for CNN's "Parker Spitzer" climbed on the show's second day.

Tuesday's episode drew 513,000 total viewers, with 125,000 of those in the A25-54 demo.

That's a 13 percent jump from Monday's 454,000 total viewers, and a 6 percent jump in the demo.

Also, while Monday's premiere lost viewers from its lead-in, "John King USA," Tuesday's episode drew almost 100,000 more total viewers (Monday's show did grow in the demo, as did Tuesday's).

The initial ratings for "Parker Spitzer," though, are still below the 591,000 viewers that Campbell Brown — who departed the network in July, citing low ratings — averaged in her time slot for the year. Tuesday's show was also beaten by both "The O'Reilly Factor," which drew 3.5 million viewers, and "Countdown," which drew 1.2 million.
