Feisty gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino is expected to broadcast a "major" announcement over many New York stations tonight. Paladino has purchased air time in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany, and will make his announcement at 5:13 pm, though no has been able to ascertain what the message will be.
Republican leaders have become increasingly worried about Paladino's pugilistic image, especially after last week's spat with NY Post reporter Fred Dicker. Sources tell the Daily News, however, that he will not be dropping out of the race.
