Teen Shot In Rear For Wearing Sagging Pants

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a 45-year-old Memphis man angry over two teens' sagging pants shot one in the buttocks during an argument. He faces aggravated assault charges. The boys were walking through a southeast Memphis neighborhood when Kenneth E. Bonds yelled at them to pull up their pants, according to an arrest document.

Police Sgt. Ron Perry said the teens refused and the three began arguing in the street. Bonds then brandished a semi-automatic pistol and threatened to shoot the teens.

Perry said Bonds fired several shots and hit one of the teens as the pair ran away. The teen's wound wasn't critical. The other wasn't injured in the Sept. 25 shooting first reported by The Commercial Appeal in Memphis.

A court clerk says it's not clear if Bonds had a lawyer.

I think that is hardly the reason. I don't hear any uproar or loud complaints about. People may shake their heads in pity, when they see someone with sagging baggy jeans, but most do not get p!ssed off.

It's the ghetto prison inspired look. It is just an advertisement of the social class or construct one adheres to or comes from.

Don't agree with the shooting at all but I heard hilarious story about teaching these poopy pants young men a lesson.

The mom of one of these boys saw him wearing his pants and stepped on it to pull it all the way down and walked him home!

The way things seem to roll, mama just laid the seed for the next trend. Just wearing your pants around your ankles.
Seems that they are migrating more and more to various odd states of undress and calling it "fashion".
I also don't understand the odd size dyslexia going on. The young scrawny guys wearing clothes that would be too big for a mobidly obese person and the plump (and even skinny) young gals wearing clothes that they grew out of in 1st grade.
