Kanye West Likens Lindsay Lohan's Ungaro Collaboration To 9/11

Elle UK reports that Kanye West likened Lindsay Lohan's collection for Emanuel Ungaro to 9/11 at the London premiere for his short film "Runaway" on Wednesday. West called the troubled actress's collaboration with the label the "9/11 for celebrities doing fashion. After that, I thought, 'Well I can't do a line now.'"

Lohan served as the Artistic Advisor for Ungaro last fall, when she showed a collection of hearts and pasties. Ungaro himself called the duds a "disaster."

West also divulged that seeing Lagerfeld in his Chanel atelier with his seamstresses inspired him to go back to making music after his six-month break following the Taylor Swift incident. He told Elle, "These women would die for Karl, they were so into perfecting that next Chanel dress, which no one else could make."

Kanye was spotted several times at New York Fashion Week and reportedly instituted a suits-only dress code policy for himself and his posse.

I laughed for about 15 min. when I read this...Her taste is garish and she has no business as any type of "creative" anything. She needs to stick to those horrible leggings...9/11 of fashion. This is why we love and hate Kanye, I couldn't have given a better description for Lindsay's influence on fashion than the apocalypse. Hilarious. Taylor at the VMA's...Kanye should've taken the mike out of her hands this year...

Say whatever you want about Kanye, but he calls it as it is, plus he has talent (shocking right?). Taylor Swift cant sing, or make videos, and Ungaro under Lindsay was a DISASTER so bad, idk if brand will ever recover.

typical--you've misinterpreted what he meant by the statement. he meant that giving lindsay lohan the opportunity to design for a house of renown was akin to being a sign of the apocalypse, which is actually true.

I really dislike Kanye - He has too much of an ego for my liking. It'll take a lot for me to get over what he did to Taylor Swift, the sweet teenage country singer. Even though Lindsay's collaboration with Ungaro was not a success, Kanye needs to stop badmouthing everybody in Hollywood.
