Sitting here at my house on the west coast of Costa Rica, I can see some Howler Monkeys in the trees above the pool and some iguana's running down the front road. The sky is fluttering with multi colored birds and just last week I saw a flock of peciaries up by the waterfall. If I go surfing this afternoon, I'll see hundreds of various types of fish and perhaps some sea turtles. Best of all, I'm just a half hour from an international airport with direct flights to the US. Come on down.

Thanks for the invite. Costa Rica is SO LOVELY. I'll close my eyes and teleport myself there from Nebraska, which is 63 degrees and sunny. Just about perfect. But AHHH, Costa Rica:>)

The site www.FreeAnimalVideo.org has some great wildlife video. The nice thing is you can download it free. They just want to help animals by offering the video to everyone at no charge.

i think nyc, los angeles, san francisco, even portland are the best places to view wildlife. these lists are ridiculous, cease and desist before these places are over-run with the detritus of civilization: aka tourists!

Both salubrious and lugubrious concurrently.

I once saw a wild turkey running down Mass Ave Boston during rush hour. Wildlife is where you find it. That 747 jumbo jet flying you down to the Brazil to look at monkey will burn more fossil fuel in a day than your Prius will in its entire lifetime.

you forgot one of the most important and awe-inspiring places to spot wildlife: the great migration in masai mara
plus you give no examples of underwater spots. i suggest diving sites off honduras.
