Boeing Conducts Extensive Tests On New 787 Dreamliner (VIDEO)

The commercial debut of Boeing's 787 Dreamliner has been much-anticipated around the world.

Yet the fuel-efficient, long-range airplane is facing tough tests before it's allowed for commercial use.

787 Chief Test Pilot Mike Carriker has been traveling around the country for the various test flights, analyzing each problem and concern to make sure the planes are up to code.

He gives a fascinating look at the intense trials airplanes go through before they are allowed to be used for public consumption.
