Tea Party Finds Small, Strong Voice At NYU

With midterm elections swiftly approaching, the Tea Party has captured the nation's attention. Even on NYU's liberal campus where the group has been dismissed, it has been embraced by some students.

NYU College Republicans treasurer Jason Angelico thought of the Tea Party as "friends of the Republican Party."

"Others might say the movement has no solutions," he said. "They are not anti-government; they are anti-encroaching government. They want to reduce it on all levels and that is in itself a solution."
