UT Shooting Footage Released

Chilling Footage Of UT Shooter Released (VIDEO)

The University of Texas police department has released eerie surveillance footage of Colton Tooley, the student who took his life on campus two weeks ago.

The tape, as reported by the Daily Texan, shows Tooley entering the Perry-Castaneda Library at around 8 a.m. on Sept. 28, waving to the security guard and running. Tooley is wearing a black ski mask and suit. The video follows him as he makes his way up to the sixth floor of the library, where he ultimately killed himself.

According to UT Police Chief Randy Dahlstrom, Tooley's father purchased the AK-47 that the mathematics sophomore is holding in the video. Dahlstrom said that Tooley rode an Austin city bus to campus with the weapon in his backpack.

No one else was injured that day.
