Willie Geist On 'Today': In His New Book, Sarah Palin Gives Inaugural Address At A Professional Wrestling Match (VIDEO)

Willie Geist On 'Today'

Willie Geist, host of NBC's "Way Too Early" and author of "American Freak Show," said on 'Today' that there's a "really fine line between infamy and fame."

Case in point: Geist highlighted Rod Blagojevich, former Governor of Illinois, who he thought "was relishing his celebrity" and now made the jump from politics to starring in his own reality show.

Geist's new book, "American Freak Show," tackles issues of fame, celebrity and American culture, as the author uses real public figures and then "just makes stuff up about them," as "Today" host Matt Lauer commented.

Which figures does Geist satirize? Sarah Palin, for one, who gives her inaugural presidential address at a professional wrestling match, and Lindsay Lohan is another, who forms a relationship from jail with another inmate using Twitter alone.
