Why would anyone hire the president of the failed Blockbusters franchise and move them to the failed American Apparel? No wonder so many businesses are going under..the same 3 or 4 losers are kept in constant rotation, burning through the bailout money with nothing to show for it but a fabulous personal livelihood....

So much for the financial crisis in Dubai. Doesn't seem to have made much of a dent.

150 residences? Who would actually want to live, event part time, in an environment like that? It's beyond me to comprehend.

I love Roche Bobois -- especially the way Amurhiduhns mangle proncouncing it. Why doesn't Gaultier do Ikea? That would be all kinds of awesome.

Does this mean AA will be making pants that aren't ballcrushers for the average male? Because I like AA and my gonads, but it's not even close which one I'm rooting for.

You are right. I should have been more specific. I was referring to the Lagerfeld designed "island" off Dubai. Dubai is still reeling from the crash, yet the ridiculous building of faux islands and shopping malls continues.
