This year Denver ranks fifth out of 20 cities in the United States for best places to trick-or treat according to Zillow, an online real estate website. This is Zillow's second year of conducting their annual "Trick-Or-Treat Housing Index."
The index was calculated based upon a Zillow Home Value Index, population density, a walk score to measure how far it would be for trick-or-treaters to go between house to house and crime data to assess safety risks.
Zillow named Seattle the number one trick-or-treating city in the country for the second year in a row, followed by San Franciso, Portland, Oregon and San Jose, California.
