In Saturday's Major League Soccer match between Toronto FC and the Columbus Crew, Columbus' Will Hesmer became the second goalkeeper in league history to score a goal.
Down 2-1 in stoppage time, a Columbus corner kick hit a defender and bounced right to Hesmer, who happened to be just seven yards away from the goal. Hesmer got control of the ball and scored, tying the game.
"What did we have to lose?" Hesmer told the Columbus Dispatch. "I really didn't know what I was doing. Luckily, it went in."
The game ended in a 2-2 draw. Scroll down to watch the goal. (Via Dirty Tackle)
