Blake Lively 'The Jackie O. Of Her Time,' Stylist Eric Daman Says (PHOTOS, POLL)

Ah, Blake Lively...actress, friend of Anna Wintour, the next Jackie O.? Absolutely, if you ask "Gossip Girl" stylist Eric Daman. He spoke with Hollywood Life about Lively and explained, "She's not getting out of cars without panties and she rather be home making apple pie, not partying in a limo. That's why Anna [Wintour] likes her. She nailed it [the Vogue covers] and I love being a part of it without having to hold her hand."

Daman added, "[Sarah Jessica Parker] was so instrumental about clothing and the draping and body parts and Blake is the same exact way, but she's not Carrie and she's not SJP. Blake is in her 20's and has a hot body, she's a teen icon of high fashion and we haven't really seen something like it, she's like the Jackie O of her time."

W-T-F? Seriously? Uh...no. I like Blake Lively. She's sweet, pretty, smart, talented, tall, and has great style and all but Jackie O. Obviously, I was born in 1991, and I don't know how Jackie O was like. However, the way people go on about Jackie O. tells me that she is obviously an icon, and Blake Lively is not even close to being an icon. People shouldn't even be thinking about that

I know that he meant she has the grace & elegance of someone of Jackie O's stature but I REALLY wish he didn't make this heavy handed remark because just look at the backlash on here. He was right in that regard but not everyone is familar with Blake...lets stay low key before making comments of such grandieur for now.

Still I agree she does have a lot of old Hollywood qualities about her. Even though Camelot obviously wasn't Hollywood for politics it was the closest thing to it (the White House didn't get as glamorous as that until Michelle). If you watch closesly &/or familar with Blake you know she exudes the same sort of class...

Jackie O was about more than clothes. And besides, Blake sense of fashion, is not her sense, it's her stylists sense.
