I was in Japan and they had vending machines for beer right on the street! That could never happen in the US.

I don't think selling crabs with a vending machine means the crabs must be treated badly.
If the vending machine is well designed to keep the crabs alive, maybe it's better than selling them in a seafood market...

That's right. Put living beings in a vending machine. What an acceptable practice. Why don't they stuff puppies and kittens in vending machines too? I here they're a delicacy in some parts.

I agree. I don't care if you eat it, but you don't keep it penned up in a refrigerator, ALIVE. I mean, what's next, freezers with live pigs in the US?
