'The 3rd Floor': 'The Office' Teases Online Halloween Horror Flick (VIDEO)

It looks like "The Office" is planning more than a traditional Halloween episode this season. On Oct. 28, Ryan Howard's horror movie "The 3rd Floor" will premiere online, and from the looks of the trailer below it's going to be pretty awesome.

Starring fellow co-workers Erin, Kelly, Meredith, Kevin and more, "The 3rd Floor" looks like your standard slasher movie, except that it takes place in the beloved Dunder Mifflin offices (on the third floor). We don't want to give anything away, but it looks like sweet, little Erin is the one doing most of the slashing. Interesting choice, Ryan!

If the show's other webisodes such as "Subtle Sexuality" are any indication, "The 3rd Floor" should be a fun watch right before Halloween, if only to see Kevin with that hilarious fake mustache.

Now the Office has gone all theatrical on us. Why? Why? I watched all of the episodes consecutively when I had mono last winter. The first few seasons were great, then it turned into a romance show, and now it's gone to theater. I guess that's what middle-aged women want...

The Office just gets more over the top every year. I'll probably keep watching though. Pam and Doug or whatever are so adorable.

Well that ad certainly wasn't worth watching an ad for. Not funny at all.

You're forgetting the problem that The Office is currently one of the worst comedies on tv right now.

Why is that? I haven't watched it in awhile.
