College Basketball Coach RESCUES Car Crash Victims

Jamie Dixon, men's basketball coach at the University of Pittsburgh, reportedly cut his hands rescuing victims from a car accident near the city on Saturday night.

According to the report, a car flipped over on I-279 North near the McKnight Road exit in Pittsburgh. Dixon, who was driving on the same highway, saw the accident and pulled over to help.

"[Dixon] assisted in removing at least one of the two occupants," Pennsylvania state trooper Erik Fisher told ESPN.com. "He sustained some injuries to his hands in assisting in getting them out through the windshield of the vehicle on the passenger side."

Fisher went on to call Dixon a "Good Samaritan" and said he "was one of the few who pulled over."
