Googled: Anti-Italism and Italian Immigration (wikipedia) and WOP or Without Papers. One wonders what Tancredos family went through in their immigration and why his stance today. Is he so angry about the stereotypes of yesteryear that he spews his hate today or what?

you have no idea what he is like since you have only been fed crap. Tom is a good man. I don't agree with everything he says but i do with most. He knows this state unlike these transplants and knows what the state needs. he says he can stop illegal immigration in the state cold and he can when he will enforce the laws already on the books. that 'one' issue is pretty important to a lot of people in my state. more people think like me than you, thank the Great Kahuna.

"Fed crap" ???? LOL - I'm pretty sure I am up to date on Colorado politics as well. My argument is that he advocates DEPORTATION - so what does that mean? - spend money to drop them off at the border and then they come right back? Better to WORK WITH he employers in Colorado and "Nip it in the bud". So sick of the focus on the workers coming over the border (who have NO interest in American laws) and wish he would focus on the people hiring them (who SHOULD have an interest in American laws)! KAPEESH? Other than that - he has no PLAN for creating jobs and working with CEO's of Colorado companies and has NO personal appeal (IMHO) with outside companies to attract them to Colorado. ALSO, how many tourist and convention dollars will we LOSE with his plan? Better to have someone REASONABLE like Hickenlooper. Also, I don't agree with his other points: education, firing govt workers, union breakups .... I don't want somone who aligns himself with a "party" who is subtly advocating violence representing this state! Disgusting. So, we will see - Nov 2 is close.

It is refreshing that a candidate like Tancredo can be so open about his racism at a time when most of the racist candidates of the GOP are hiding their true feelings until after the election. Honesty is the best policy.

Actually, he's not. During a recent gubernatorial debate he said he is just so disturbed about charges of racism levelled at him. His feelings don't have anything to do with ethnicity or color, gawd forbid. He just think's it's really important to be an American and to preserve our American heritage, and he is just worried that some people, because of their strong familial ties and them speaking a different language, might sully it.

His remarks were more amusing as the cameras panned the audience, and showed somepeople rolling their eyes or shaking their heads.

How ironic that he's of Italian heritage. There was a race that was more recently screwed than others during its own immigration influx.

He's a two-faced bigit. Honesty is not a motive I would attribute to him.

Tancredo? Isn't he the guy who bought the outcome of a primary with buses and fried chicken?
