Jessica Simpson Weight

Jessica Simpson opened up to USA Today, Maria Shriver and Ali Wentworth about her body image and emotional eating at the Women's Conference in Long Beach, California Monday night. She also confirmed that she accidentally ran into ex-husband Nick Lachey at an LA restaurant while both were with their new significant others.

Here are some highlights, read more here.

On running into Nick:
"He was at the same restaurant. I didn't speak to him."

On her boyfriend Eric Johnson:
"He definitely makes me very happy. He brings out a lot of light in me and makes me very comfortable being who I am. It's nice to be with somebody who praises you for the right reasons."

On the public's obsession with her weight:
"I feel like people are constantly curious as to how much I weigh or what I look like or what I wear. There's no way you're not going to be affected by the ugly things people say about you. It's very hurtful. It definitely brings up a lot of your own insecurities."

On her relationship with food:
"I'm from Texas, I like everything fried, which is the really unfortunate thing. My relationship with food? I want it when I'm sad. When I'm happy, I don't think much about it. But I do like to go out on a date for a good dining experience. It's important not to say, 'I can't have this' because then I obsess about it."

On her ideal day:
"A good pampering day for me would be vegging out on the couch, eating whatever the heck I want to eat and watching all my TV shows."

We all do Jessica, all women have the same problem at some point, so get over yourself. I am so sick of Jessica Simpson blabbing and blabbing about her weight problem and her food habits. How many more years do we have to hear her bitching about that? I do not feel sorry for her because she has the means and the money to hire the best trainer/nutritionist/dietitian and get the best of everything for her weight loss. I've seen people with nothing doing it. So enough already. Eat, don't eat, whoever but stop bitching.

I hate to tell you this, Jess, you are normal. Relax, enjoy your life and take each day as it comes.

Did anyone actually learn anything from this article? She loves her new boyfriend, she likes food, and fried food, and she loves to hang out on the couch and watch TV! Truly some remarkable revelations.

See, Jess...

....it's not the food that's the problem. It's afterward. Ya know, what with your admission of not brushing your teeth but maybe two or three times a week because you don't like the feel of them afterward, that....ya know...clean...feel.

Nah, babe. Chow down all ya want. Just keep your halitosis at your end of the nation and we'll be cool.

Welcome to the club Jessica! Many of us are emotional eaters, and want to eat when we're sad, happy, you name it! Years ago I realized a pattern with myself after talking to my mother on the phone, I always found myself in the kitchen opening the refrigerator and looking for anything I could get my hands on! And regardless of whether I was hungry or not. LOL!
