NEW YORK (WABC) -- The NYPD is cracking down on drivers using hand-held cell phones behind the wheel Tuesday.
The 24-hour crackdown is also targeting those who text while driving.
The crackdown is part of a police effort focusing on traffic violations linked to deaths or injuries.
